CP Holiday Train to make stops in Belleville, Trenton, Smiths Falls and more this November

Dates have been announced for this year’s CP Holiday Train stops, and a number of Hometownist communities will be visited.

On Nov. 27, the train will pass through the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark area with the following stops:

  • Merrickville at 4:45 p.m., for a 5 to 5:30 p.m. performance. The train will stop at 103 East Broadway and County Road 2, at south side of the rarailway crossing near Bay Street
  • Smiths Falls at 6:20 p.m., with a 6:30 – 7 p.m. performance. The train will be at the Smiths Falls CPKC train station (63 Victoria Street)
  • Perth for 7:40 p.m., with an 8-8:30 p.m. performance. The train will be at CPKC rail yard, Herriott Street

On Nov. 28, the train will head west, with a couple of local stops before travelling to Toronto, including:

  • Belleville at 9:15 a.m. for a 9:30 to 10 a.m. performance. The train will be west of CPKC storage facility on Keegan Way, adjacent to CPKC tracks
  • Trenton at 10:45 a.m. for a for a 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. performance. The train will stop at R.C.A.F Road and County Road 21.

All of the above stops will feature performances by the Anyway Gang, a Canadian musical group, consisting of Sam Roberts, Chris Murphy, Menno Versteeg, and Dave Monks. The group formed in the summer of 2018 and released their debut single, “Big Night” in September, 2019.
