The Lou Jeffries Town of Gananoque & TLTI Recreational Centre

The Town of Gananoque has announced a planned service disruption at the popular Gananoque sport courts, located within the Lou Jeffries Town of Gananoque & TLTI Recreational Centre at 600 King Street East. Scheduled for a one-day period, the maintenance aims to prepare the facility for the upcoming winter season.

Scheduled Maintenance Details:

Date: October 18, 2023 – October 19, 2023

Activities Affected: All court activities, including pickleball, tennis, and basketball, will be temporarily restricted during this period. The disruption is necessary as staff will be on-site to remove the fence screening from the south and west sections of the facility.

The removal work is essential to protect the wind screen from potential winter damage. The Town of Gananoque assures residents that every effort will be made to complete the maintenance promptly. The Town says that if there are any rain delays, the work will be finalized on Thursday, Oct. 19.

Residents are reminded that the courts will remain open into November, dependent on weather conditions.

The Town of Gananoque appreciates the patience and understanding of its residents during this maintenance period. This temporary inconvenience ensures the long-term functionality of the facility, guaranteeing an optimal experience for sports enthusiasts.

For further updates and information, residents are encouraged to visit the Town of Gananoque’s official website or contact the Town Hall directly.
