Paranormal group to present findings of investigation of Prescott coffee shop Oct. 24

The best part about the autumn season for many people is enjoying the plethora of spooky seasonal activities.

If that person is you, the Downtown Prescott Business Improvement Area (BIA) is hosting an exciting upcoming event called “A Haunting in Downtown Prescott,” which offers the opportunity to engage with a local business and learn a little history, all while getting into the spooky spirit.

This first of it’s kind event is taking place at Katarina’s Coffee Shop, located at 513 King Street West in Prescott. Cafe owner Nicole Hudson confirmed that they will be offering their regular menu items at the event, such as paninis, soup, coffees, and more. Katarina’s Coffee Shop is open all year round and serves hot breakfasts, pre-order cakes and various desserts in house. 

According to the promotional description on Facebook by Downtown Prescott Riverwalk District, “at this collaborative event, Astral Light Paranormal will be unveiling the findings of their recent investigation at Katarina’s.”

Astral Lights Paranormal, a nonprofit organization based out of Kemptville, describes their mission on their YouTube Page as “investigating ​​paranormal activity for research, answers and truth for those who seek knowledge.” 

Cafe owner Nicole Hudson also noted there will be a presentation at the event about the history of the building. They will also be sharing the findings from the Astral Light Paranormal hunt. She shared that she is most looking forward to having guests and patrons learn more about the history of the building.
