Three arrested in Brockville drug raid

In a coordinated effort between the Brockville Police Service’s Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit and the Ontario Provincial Police Tactics and Rescue Unit, an operation was conducted under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a Central Avenue residence on Dec. 14.

Following the execution of a search warrant, officers arrested a 27-year-old male and a 41-year-old male, both from the Montreal area, on multiple charges under the CDSA. Additionally, a 45-year-old resident of Brockville faces charges stemming from the warrant.

Police did not name the suspects.

During the thorough search of the premises, authorities uncovered a substantial quantity of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, along with cellular phones, scales, and packaging materials associated with drug distribution.

All three accused were remanded into custody pending a scheduled bail hearing.
