A couple more days to enjoy Brockville’s River of Lights

Brockville’s River of Lights will run until Sunday, Jan. 7. – Hollie Pratt-Campbell/Brockvilleist

Last week, the City of Brockville announced an extension to the River of Lights.

Previously scheduled to run until Jan. 2, the show has been extended to Sunday, Jan. 7.

The decision to extend the show was made after receiving feedback from the tourism team at the Aquatarium and requests to extend the show for families who have children on break from school that week who are looking for things to do.

“Please enjoy the show for a few extra nights and support our local shops and restaurants when you visit,” reads a release from the city.

As always, the show is weather dependent – in the case of extreme weather or freezing rain that would make the site unsafe, the city will make an announcement through the website “announcements” feature and post in the Facebook event for the 2023 River of Lights.
