Brockville police called to residence for fight between two women

In a June 10 media release, Brockville police state that on Sunday, June 9, at about 9:30 p.m., police received a report of a fight at a residence on Brock Street.

Officers attended and spoke to the individuals involved, identifying two women as the ones responsible for the altercation.

“One of the females was located out front of the residence, intoxicated, upon officers’ arrival,” the media release reads. “It was discovered that the two females engaged in a fight that disturbed residents in the area.”

Police say that no one received injuries, and the altercation was not deemed an assault.

“The intoxicated female was arrested for public intoxication and removed from the area. She was later released once sober.”

No criminal charges were laid.
