Police confirm Rotary Park photographers were contracted by Brockville General Hospital

Brockville Police have now confirmed that, despite initial reports earlier this week, photographers observed at Rotary Park in early July were legitimate and not a cause for concern.
“The Brockville Police Service has received information and has confirmed with the Brockville General Hospital that the individuals described in the previous news release were contracted by the Brockville General Hospital,” Brockville Police confirmed in a press release on the matter. “The individuals were determined to be photographers contracted by the Brockville General Hospital and the City of Brockville and were taking photographs for recruitment purposes.”
Brockville Police thanked members of the public for their assistance in their investigation. “Further,” Brockville Police advised, “[we] would like to remind members of the public that while it was determined the individuals in this incident were there for legitimate purposes, that they continue to exercise caution when providing personal information to unknown parties and to report any suspicious activity.”
