Man dies while scuba diving in St. Lawrence River, Brockville

Brockville police have confirmed that a man passed away while scuba diving in the St. Lawrence River over the weekend.

“The investigation is still ongoing, and the exact cause of death has not yet been determined,” Inspector Darryl Boyd told Brockvilleist.

Boyd said that the deceased is not local to Brockville.

“Nothing appears suspicious at this time, but we are awaiting the results of the postmortem,” Boyd said.
