A motorcyclist was recently arrested after he was caught travelling at more than three times the speed limit in a Community Safety Zone near a school in Brockville.

A media release states that on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at about 11 a.m., an officer assigned to traffic enforcement was monitoring the area of King Street West. While there, the officer noticed a motorcycle travelling at a high rate of speed in a designated Community Safety Zone in front of Swift Waters Elementary School.

The officer received a speed reading of 126km/h in this 40km/h zone.
