What you need to know about Remembrance Day events in Gananoque, Leeds and Thousand Islands

Remembrance Day in Gananoque, a town led by a mayor with 30 years of military service, will be observed with a ceremony and parade at the cenotaph in front of Town Hall.
The event will be officially hosted by the Canadian Legion, Branch 92.
The ceremony starts at 10:45 a.m., followed by the parade.
The parade will include veterans, members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 92, and a marching contingent from the Canadian Forces.
This will be the second Remembrance Day ceremony for John Beddows as mayor of Gananoque. Last year, he wore two hats on the day, as he also served as the Remembrance Day co-ordinator for the local Royal Canadian Legion.
