Winter parking restrictions in effect in Brockville

Beginning Thursday, Nov. 28, winter parking restrictions are in effect in Brockville.

Parking is now prohibited on city streets between the hours of 2 and 7 a.m. “This prohibition is in effect regardless of weather conditions,” a media release from the City says.

“Illegally parked cars can delay or impair winter control operations,” the release continues. “Please note that all illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed.”

When the weather conditions are especially challenging or inclement, Significant Weather Events will be posted on the City’s website when they are declared, and also posted on the municipal Facebook page.
