Brockville man arrested twice in six hours

A disturbance at a Brockville business led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man, whose actions would result in a second arrest just hours later.
On Jan. 9, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Brockville Police Service responded to a complaint about a man yelling at employees and customers at a business in the north end of town. Police say a 33-year-old man was located nearby and arrested for causing a disturbance and breaching his probation. He was later released on an undertaking.
The next day, at about 4:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, the same 33-year-old was captured on surveillance cameras in and around residences, backyards, and sheds in the south end of town. Police say he fled before officers arrived. About two hours later, at approximately 6:30 a.m., he was located at the Brockville General Hospital, arrested, and held for a bail hearing.
