Blockhouse Island Harbour rink open for skating in Brockville

The City of Brockville has announced that the Blockhouse Island Harbour rink is now open for residents and visitors to enjoy.
The rink will be open daily around the clock while conditions are favourable. Ice surfaces are being monitored and inspected daily for users’ safety.
The rink will be closed only for morning maintenance, or if it’s unsafe. Hockey is not permitted.
“The area of the rink is clearly defined for users, with the closed off portions visible with ropes and signage,” the city states. “Lace up and have fun!”
The Brockville Memorial Centre is also open for adult skating sessions Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1 to 2:20 p.m., and public skating sessions most Sundays from 1 to 2:20 p.m. The fee is $2.50 per person. Visit the City’s website for exceptions to these times.
