The City of Brockville Legacy Fund is now accepting applications for 2025.

The fund provides financial support for recreational and cultural capital projects. Recipients are determined by a four-member allocation committee, consisting of two members of City Council and the two most recent Citizens of the Year. This year, approximately $9,000 will be distributed among selected projects.

The application deadline is Thursday, April 17 at 4 p.m. Applications must be submitted through the City’s online Legacy Fund Application Form. Criteria and further details are available on the fund’s website.

The Legacy Fund was established in 2009 with a $200,000 allocation from the City of Brockville. It is managed by the Brockville Community Foundation, with annual earnings distributed to local organizations after a 2 per cent management fee.
