Smiths Falls drug bust on Main Street East leads to two charged

The Brockville Police Service teamed up with the Smiths Falls Police Service on the morning of Thursday, March 6 to execute a warrant at a Main Street East residence, which resulted in two local people being charged.

Sherry Jarvis, 50, of Smiths Falls, was charged with three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Jessie Peters, 40, of Smiths Falls, is facing the same charges, along with a charge of failing to comply with his probation order.

Charges have not been proven in court.

Items seized included cocaine, crack cocaine and speed, along with U.S. and Canadian currency.
