Brockville police were called to a dispute between neighbours on Saturday night, which led to two women being charged.

Police say in a media release that on Saturday, March 29, at about 11:45 a.m., officers received a 911 call regarding a disturbance that took place at a residence on Fairknowe Drive. Police say two females who reside in that area were in an argument, leading to one calling the other to a fight.

Police learned that one woman, 25, was on bail conditions to abstain from communicating with the other woman, 32, due to previous incidents. The 32-year-old was also on a probation order with her own condition to keep the peace and be on good behaviour. Police say that at one point, after a loud argument, the 25-year-old was at the 32-year-old’s residence, kicking at the door attempting to instigate a fight.

Both subjects were charged regarding the incident. The 25-year-old, was charged with failing to comply with her release order and the 32-year-old, charged with mischief – disrupting the lawful enjoyment of property and fail to comply with probation.

They were both released with future court dates.
