Hot Meals on Wheels expands to five days a week in Brockville and Prescott

Seniors in Brockville and Prescott will soon benefit from expanded meal delivery services, as the Hot Meals on Wheels program returns to five-day-a-week operations starting Monday, May 12.
According to a press release from Seniors Support Services (CPHC), this move is made possible through a new partnership with Joyous Thyme Catering, which will provide hot, nutritious meals every weekday to clients in both Brockville and Prescott.
“We are confident this collaboration will make a positive difference in the lives of the seniors we serve,” said Sarah Dodgson, Community Relations Coordinator for CPHC.
The program not only delivers meals to seniors in these communities, but also provides a daily wellness check and much-needed social connection thanks to a team of dedicated volunteers.
The expanded service with Joyous Thyme also marks a particular boost for Prescott, which will now see increased delivery frequency alongside the existing Brockville program.
