St. Lawrence College is inviting proposals from community organizations interested in partnering to use the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery at its Brockville campus.

Located in the front atrium of the college, the gallery was established in 2007 through a bequest from SLC Fine Arts graduate Marianne van Silfhout and additional community support. The space continues to reflect van Silfhout’s vision of connecting wilderness, education, and the arts.

The college is seeking proposals from organizations that align with the gallery’s mission and outline intended use of the space—such as exhibitions, workshops, or cultural events. Proposals must include a plan to help cover operational and maintenance costs, estimated at approximately $10 per square foot, and suggest a financial contribution or revenue-sharing model.

Proposals should also reflect the college’s student-centred mandate and meet Ontario’s requirements for entrepreneurial activity at colleges.

The deadline for submissions is November 28, 2025. Proposals can be sent to: vpstudentsuccess@sl.on.ca.
