A woman has been charged following a drug investigation and search warrant execution in Brockville.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 29, members of the Brockville Police Service’s Drugs and Intelligence Unit, supported by the Emergency Response Team and OPP’s Leeds County Community Street Crime Unit, searched a residence on Bartholomew Street.

Two people were taken into custody. A search of the home turned up 92 grams of methamphetamine, 82 oxycodone tablets, 1.5 grams of cocaine, $1,200 in Canadian cash, $1,800 in prepaid credit cards, a currency counter, digital scales, packaging materials, safes, and several knives.

An 18-year-old male was later released without charges. A 55-year-old woman was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking—methamphetamine and oxycodone.

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Brockville Police say the investigation is ongoing.
