Police arrested the same woman twice within hours on June 15 following two unrelated disturbances in downtown Brockville.

At around 3:45 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance on King Street West near the RBC after a woman reportedly yelled at, spat on, and threatened a woman and her child who were sitting in a parked vehicle. The suspect, who was on probation at the time, was located nearby and arrested. She was released later that afternoon and is facing charges of uttering threats, mischief under $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with probation.

At approximately 7 p.m., police were called to a second disturbance at the Proxi Gas Station at Stewart Boulevard and Parkedale Avenue. According to witnesses, the same woman entered the store, paid for several items, and then went behind the counter and struck an employee. She then left the store, picked up a bag of firewood, and began swinging it, hitting the building and challenging staff to a fight. A second employee who tried to intervene was also assaulted.

Police arrived shortly after and arrested the suspect, who had attempted to flee on foot.

She was held in custody for a bail hearing and is now facing additional charges of two counts of assault, resisting arrest, uttering threats, criminal harassment, and two further counts of failing to comply with probation.
