Brockville Police are investigating a series of tire slashing incidents that occurred overnight between June 23 and the early hours of June 24.

Officers received multiple reports from the King Street East area, where approximately 10 vehicles were found with one or more tires deliberately damaged. In total, about 18 tires were slashed.

Police say the incidents took place sometime between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., and they are actively canvassing the neighbourhood, reviewing surveillance footage, and speaking with witnesses in an effort to identify those responsible.

“These types of crimes cause financial hardship for residents and create unnecessary fear in the community,” police said in a statement.

Anyone who may have been a victim or who has security or doorbell camera footage of the area during that time is asked to contact Brockville Police at 613-342-0127, ext. 0, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
