Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Leeds & Grenville

At 1:21 p.m on Monday July 7, 2025, Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm alert that will likely affect many residents in the Leeds and Grenville area. Meteorologists are expecting damaging winds gusts of 90km/h intense downpours.

The storm is expected to continue into early this evening and could cause damage roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters.

Emergency Management Ontario is recommending that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
