Brockville police appeal to public for surveillance footage potentially connected to homicide investigation

The Brockville Police Service is asking north-end residents and businesses to review surveillance footage that could assist investigators in an ongoing homicide investigation.
Police are requesting that residents, business owners and property managers check any available video recordings captured between 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 and 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
Investigators say footage from outside the identified area, or video that may initially appear insignificant, could still hold investigative value.
Police are asking people to review:
- Trail or wildlife cameras
- Doorbell cameras (e.g., Ring)
- Home or business security cameras
- Dash cameras
Police also released a description of a person of interest.
- Approximately six feet tall
- Approximately 280 pounds
- Heavy-set build
- Brown hair
- Possibly wearing dark clothing
Anyone with relevant footage or information is asked to contact:
- Detective Constable McCullough at 613-342-0127 ext. 2099
- Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
“To protect the integrity of the investigation, it is requested that all footage and information be provided directly to police and not shared on social media,” police say in the media release.
