Police seek surveillance footage from newly identified area in Brockville triple homicide investigation

The Brockville Police Service is requesting footage from the area shown on this map in their ongoing homicide investigation.

The Brockville Police Service is again asking the public for assistance as investigators continue their triple homicide investigation in the city’s north end.

Police released an initial appeal on Monday, but on Wednesday, May 12 said an updated area of interest has now been identified. Investigators are seeking surveillance footage from the area in the map above that could assist the ongoing investigation.

Residents, business owners and property managers are being asked to review any available video recordings from between 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, and 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.

Investigators are specifically asking people to check trail or wildlife cameras, doorbell cameras, home or business security systems and dash cameras.

Police said footage captured outside the identified area, or video that may initially appear insignificant, could still be valuable to investigators.

The person of interest is described as:

  • approximately six feet tall
  • approximately 280 pounds
  • heavy-set build
  • brown hair
  • possibly wearing dark clothing

Anyone with information or relevant footage is asked to contact Detective Constable McCullough at 613-342-0127 ext. 2099 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

Police reiterated their appeal to members of the public to not share footage or information related to the investigation on social media in order to protect the integrity of the case.
