Shop the Street: A Springtime Stroll takes over downtown Brockville this weekend

Downtown Brockville will once again transform into a hub of shopping, music and community activity later this month as businesses and organizations come together for “Shop the Street: A Springtime Stroll.”
The event, organized by the Downtown Brockville Business Improvement Area (BIA), is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along King Street and throughout the downtown core.
Throughout the day, attendees will be able to browse local retailers, engage with community organizations and vendors, try out food trucks and restaurants, and check out a classic car show planned as part of the festivities.
Live music performances will also take place on two separate stages downtown throughout the event.
The East Stage lineup will feature performances by James King at 10 a.m., Rogue Saints at 11 a.m., Jessica Lavallee at noon and Nate Hardy at 1:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, the West Stage will host Gabrielle Salmon at 10 a.m., River House at 11:30 a.m., Lonely Donkey at 12:30 p.m. and Sun Dried Flies at 1:30 p.m.
The BIA is also implementing a Downtown Discovery Passport program aimed at encouraging visitors to follow along and explore participating businesses throughout the downtown core.
Participants can pick up passports at the Downtown Brockville BIA booth located at 126 King St. W. or from downtown street ambassadors during the event.
Visitors who collect stamps from participating businesses and return completed passports to the BIA booth by 3 p.m. on May 23 will have the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for a guaranteed prize and be entered into a grand prize draw. According to event organizers, the grand prize includes a $500 Downtown Brockville gift card along with other unique downtown prize bundles.
“King Street is coming alive with spring energy!” the BIA stated. “There’s something exciting on every block.”
