Driver charged following rollover on Stewart Boulevard in Brockville

A young driver is facing a Highway Traffic Act charge following a single-vehicle rollover in Brockville.

Police say on Thursday, July 23 that on Sunday, July 18 emergency crews responded to a 911 call at about 5 p.m. reporting a rollover collision on Stewart Boulevard between Centennial Road and Victoria Road.

Brockville police, paramedics and the Brockville Fire Department attended the scene.

Police say the vehicle’s occupants escaped without serious injuries.

Following an investigation, officers determined the driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting a manoeuvre near the shoulder of the road.

The driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with making an unsafe move on the shoulder.
