Immediately reporting a pothole, damaged equipment or a fallen tree in Brockville is now just a few clicks away.

The City of Brockville announced on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, that they have officially launched the Citywide Portal, a new online system that allows residents to report issues on city-maintained property through a single digital platform.

According to city officials, the portal can be used to report non-emergency concerns involving city roads, sidewalks, parks, facilities, streetlights, signs and other municipal infrastructure. Residents can do this by submitting requests through their own created account or as a guest.

Users are now able to pinpoint the location of an issue in real time by uploading photos or other supporting files and submitting their request directly to the appropriate municipal department. Those who create an account can also track the status of their requests online.

“Residents play an important role in helping identify issues across the community, and this system gives them a direct way to contribute while helping the City maintain public spaces and services more effectively,” City Manager Sandra MacDonald in the announcement.

The Citywide Portal is the result of a modernization project launched in 2024 to improve how the city receives service requests, coordinates maintenance work and manages municipal assets, according to city officials.

Over the past two years, Brockville’s GIS and Asset Management team has developed a centralized inventory of city-owned infrastructure while integrating inspections, maintenance records, work orders and public service requests into a single system.

“By bringing asset information, maintenance activities, and service requests together in one system, staff can better coordinate work, track maintenance needs, and plan for the future,” added Peter Raabe, Director of Engineering and Infrastructure.

Residents can access the Citywide Portal through the City of Brockville’s website under the Service Requests and Issue Reporting section.
