Brockville’s popular St. Lawrence Park Beach has been closed to swimmers after recent water testing found elevated levels of bacteria.
The City of Brockville announced on Friday, August 7, 2026, that the closure took effect immediately following testing conducted by the Southeast Public Health Unit.
A swimming advisory has been issued, and the beach will remain closed to swimming until further notice.
