Brockville residents will have the chance to showcase their artistic skills and leave their mark on this year’s municipal election by entering a design competition for the city’s official “I Voted” sticker.

The City of Brockville has launched its 2026 “I Voted” Sticker Contest, inviting residents of all ages to submit original artwork celebrating the city, civic engagement and community pride. The winning design will be distributed to voters during the upcoming Municipal and School Board Election.

City officials say the contest is intended to build excitement around the upcoming election while encouraging civic participation in a creative and engaging way.

“We’re excited to offer residents a unique opportunity to contribute to the election experience,” City Clerk Sheena Earl said in a notice issued on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. “This contest is about celebrating democracy, encouraging civic participation, and showcasing the creativity that exists throughout our community.”

The contest opens on Monday, Aug. 31 and submissions will be accepted until Sept. 11. The city notes that entries must be created to fit a circular sticker design and should reflect the spirit of Brockville.

Once the contest closes, a panel of judges will review all eligible entries and select three finalists. Those designs will then be put to a public vote from Sept. 15 to 17, giving residents the chance to choose a sticker that will represent their city throughout the election process.

The winning design will be announced on Sept. 18. In addition to having their artwork featured on the city’s official voter sticker, the winner will also receive a $150 Visa gift card and recognition from the City of Brockville.

Contest rules, submission forms and additional details are available on the City of Brockville’s website.
