Smiths Falls man charged with murder in death of Spencerville woman

A Smiths Falls man has been charged with second-degree murder and indignity to a body in connection with the death of 37-year-old Chelsea Swinwood in Spencerville.
Grenville County OPP were called to a residence on Crowder Road on Saturday, Aug. 29, where one person was found dead.
Police have now identified the deceased earlier thus week.
On Thursday, Sept. 3, police arrested Justin Donovan-Biscope, 35, of Smiths Falls.
He has been charged with:
- Second-degree murder.
- Indignity to a body.
Charges have not been proven in court.
Donovan-Biscope remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on Friday, Sept. 4.
Grenville OPP say they are continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. The OPP Emergency Response Team and Forensic Identification Services are also assisting.
