The City of Brockville is rolling out a new specialized transit booking system designed to make it easier for eligible riders to schedule and manage their Para Transit trips.

According to an announcement from the City of Brockville released on Thursday, September 10, 2026, the new system, approved through the city’s 2026 Capital Budget, brings several booking and scheduling features together through the BEST – Brockville Transit mobile app.

City officials say local riders can now book trips up to two weeks in advance, request same-day trips depending on availability, track vehicles in real time, and create personalized rider profiles.

“This project reflects our commitment to improving accessibility and enhancing the services our residents rely on every day,” said Patrick Brown, Brockville’s supervisor of transportation and fleet services. “The new system gives riders more control over how they book and manage their trips, while helping Brockville Transit deliver a more efficient and responsive service.”

Para Transit services are available to eligible Brockville residents who are unable to use conventional public transit because of a mobility or cognitive disability. The service operates throughout the City of Brockville, as well as providing transportation to St. Lawrence Lodge and Sherwood Park Manor.

Eligible riders who want to use the BEST app or online booking portal must first register for an account with Brockville Transit by calling 613-341-2279 or emailing transit@brockville.com.
