St. Lawrence College asks community for input on integration with Fleming College

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is seeking input from the community regarding its integration with Fleming College.

SLC is inviting community members, industry partners, students, employees, and alumni to participate in virtual engagement opportunities about the planned integration, according to an SLC press release, issued on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026.

The colleges together hope to create a stronger institution which continues to best serve communities across Eastern Ontario.

According to the release, a structured engagement program has been developed to provide opportunities to share input throughout the integration process.

Those wishing to provide comments and suggestions can email integration@sl.on.ca. Feedback can also be shared through survey questions, according to the release. Survey links will also be shared on SLC social media and on display boards across campus. All responses will be kept confidential.

Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO of SLC, shared that through the engagement opportunities, participants can learn more about the integration, ask questions, and help inform key decisions.

“This marks an important step forward in the progress of this integration, and we look forward to including input from the people and communities we serve,” Vollebregt said.

“We are committed to listening, learning, and working together to deliver exceptional educational opportunities and enable student success.”

According to the release, the goal of the integration is to enhance access to programs and services, strengthen industry partnerships, and ensure long-term sustainability.
